I am not an artist as much as I am an activist using the right side of my brain and visual strategies to make people think about women’s body rights and that relationship to our present culture.

My artwork comes to be through blogging, conversations, personal experiences, and frustrations. I choose to work with materials that fit each specific idea. These range from writings, spoken word, live performance art, painting, photography, installation, mixed media, and curation.

[Orchid.Envy] is a term I use to describe the fight within myself. A fight between an embrace of my body as beautiful, fragile, and sexual and a hatred of my body due to society, fear, experience, and traditional ideas of woman.
